Bauman’\u0131n ak\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131k kavram\u0131, 20. yüzy\u0131lda ya\u015fanm\u0131\u015f toplumsal ve politik dönü\u015fümleri tarif etmeye dönük bir metafordur. Temsilini moderniteye ait kurumlar\u0131n çözülmesinde ve ak\u0131\u015fkan hale gelmesinde bulur. Bu çerçevede ak\u0131\u015fkan modernite “post-ütopyac\u0131”, “post-fordist”, “post-Ulusal” ve “post-panoptiktir”. Bauman’a göre, ak\u0131\u015fkan kapitalizmin son dönü\u015fümlerinde, neoliberalizm belirleyici rol oynam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu dönü\u015fümün özelliklerinden biri “üretici toplumdan tüketiciler toplumuna geçi\u015ftir”. Bu geçi\u015fe insanlar\u0131 “borçlu bir \u0131rka” dönü\u015ftüren belirgin ve çarp\u0131c\u0131 bir süreç eklenmekte, devletin yeni ama içler ac\u0131s\u0131 rolü “piyasa egemenli\u011finin cellatl\u0131\u011f\u0131yla” s\u0131n\u0131rlanmaktad\u0131r. Bu devlette “insan kaderinin radikal bir \u015fekilde özelle\u015ftirilmesi, endüstri ve finans\u0131n radikal ölçüde kurals\u0131z hale getirilmesiyle el ele gitmektedir”. Toplumsal olarak in\u015fa edilmi\u015f topluluklar\u0131m\u0131z, kimliklerimiz ve kurumlar\u0131m\u0131z daha karars\u0131z ve güvensiz hale gelmi\u015f, bu da devletin gerilemesiyle ulusal s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131n mu\u011flakla\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131n kaç\u0131n\u0131lmaz hale geldi\u011fi bir dünyada “ak\u0131\u015fkan kimlikler” yaratm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. “Ak\u0131\u015fkan zamanlar”, yurtta\u015f haklar\u0131 kültürü, bu kitapta üzerinde uzun uzun durulacak bir “hay\u0131rseverlik, a\u015fa\u011f\u0131lanma ve damgalama kültürüne” indirgemi\u015ftir. Bauman’\u0131 okumak ve onunla sohbet etmek, özellikle incelikli mizah\u0131 ve ironi duygusu sebebiyle epey ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131l\u0131k yarat\u0131c\u0131d\u0131r. Fakat tart\u0131\u015fmak, karanl\u0131k bir ma\u011faraya girip saniyeler içinde onu kaybetmek gibidir. Onun farkl\u0131 bir tünele girdi\u011fini anlamak, tünelin sonunda gözle görülür hiçbir \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131n, hiçbir net patikan\u0131n olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 fark etmek gibidir.<\/p>\n
