Bu cephelerden birisi de Kut\u00fc\u2019l-Amare zaferinin kazan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 Irak Cephesi\u2019dir. 1914 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n Ekim ay\u0131nda Basra K\u00f6rfezi\u2019ne asker \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lmas\u0131yla ba\u015flayan ve neredeyse bir y\u0131l s\u00fcren \u0130ngiliz ilerlemesi, 22-25 Kas\u0131m 1915 tarihleri aras\u0131nda ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen Selman-\u0131 Pak Meydan Muharebesi\u2019nde son bulmu\u015ftur. Bahse konu muharebe, \u0130ngiliz kuvvetlerinin Ba\u011fdat\u2019a ilerlemesinin durdurulmas\u0131 ve Kut\u00fc\u2019l-Amare\u2019de savunmaya ge\u00e7me noktas\u0131nda b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6nemi haizdir.<\/p>\n
Binba\u015f\u0131 Mehmed Emin Bey\u2019in Selman-\u0131 Pak Meydan Muharebesi \u201cKtesifon\u201d ve Zeyli adl\u0131 eseri, 1921 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u0130stanbul\u2019da Asker\u00ee Matbaa taraf\u0131ndan bas\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Harita, \u00e7izelge ve krokilerle zenginle\u015ftirilmi\u015f hat\u0131rat t\u00fcr\u00fcnden olan bu eserin ana konusunu \u201cSelman-\u0131 Pak Meydan Muharebesi\u201d olu\u015fturmaktad\u0131r. Bu muharebeden sonra kuvvetlerin geri \u00e7ekilmesi esnas\u0131nda 27 Kas\u0131m – 1 Aral\u0131k 1915 tarihleri aras\u0131nda taraflar aras\u0131nda ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen olaylar ise, \u201cDelabiha Muharebesi [\u00dcmm\u00fc\u2019t-Tubl]\u201d ad\u0131 alt\u0131nda ayr\u0131 bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm olarak eserin ek k\u0131sm\u0131nda yer almaktad\u0131r.
