Konut tipleri, giyim-ku\u015fam, yeti\u015ftirilen ürünler ve bu ürünlerin kullan\u0131m\u0131yla yap\u0131lan yemek çe\u015fitleri gibi kültürel özellikler, o mekân\u0131n iklim özelikleri, yüzey \u015fekilleri, toprak özellikleri ve su kaynaklar\u0131 ba\u015fta olmak üzere co\u011frafi özelliklerine göre \u015fekillenmektedir. Co\u011frafya, kültürü be\u015ferî co\u011frafyan\u0131n bir dal\u0131 olan kültürel co\u011frafya ile ele al\u0131r.
